·2 years agohave you calculated the cost of the packing materials? and the percentage that eBay also keeps on the amount paid for shipping? in my experience, the seller usually loses a bit.
kind regards

First of all you need to check that the shipping service matches what was offered by the seller.
If the seller wrote for example "shipping by courier" and shipped with "post 1" then yes, you can make a claim.
If the seller wrote that they ship by courier and you paid EXACTLY what was specified in the auction with shipping by courier, then IT'S FINE LIKE THIS.
In addition to the courier cost, the seller may also have calculated packaging costs and the costs of physically taking the parcel to the post office, to a pickup point, or maybe they had to stay at home or make someone wait at home for the courier pickup.
Items don't package themselves and don't ship themselves. Every seller has the right to add a few extra euros compared to the actual shipping cost.
The important thing is that the shipping and packaging costs shown in the auction are respected and not increased after purchase.
If you want to negotiate shipping and packaging costs, you have to do it before buying the item.
Write to the seller and ask whether there is the possibility of having a specific shipping service at a specific price.
Best regards.
