"Standard sponsorship ad rate" SCAM ad percentage
After almost 15 years of being an eBay seller with no fewer than 3 selling profiles and 2 stores, I regret to say that in recent times, eBay has been literally doing whatever it wants with the fees on standard promoted listings, applying random percentages, even though the standard 2% is set as fixed.
This is not okay at all, and we don't know how to challenge it!!!!!
Do you want to have professional sellers?? Do you want to encourage sales??
At this rate, you risk getting nothing but the desertification of your beloved customer base!!!
You’ve already increased the store fees, you've introduced fees on international sales (outside the EU), now you’re also deciding the percentages arbitrarily, making up the rate at random, and that'll be that!!!
Either change or you'll lose more and more merchants!

·2 years agoThis is already the second time it’s happened to me and unfortunately until I accept the offer I’ll never see the fee I’ll pay.. But what happened is something unbelievable.. Book at 29 euros, I accept the offer at 25 and then I find out that the buyer is German, to cover shipping I had put 19 euros for international registered mail. I ship it and, like an idiot, I don’t check the total.. Out of 44 euros they credit me 9 .... !!!! Who would ever set a sponsorship at 60% ??? What's more, standard.. Crazy !!

·2 years agoYOU... the sponsorship percentage is chosen by the person making the sponsorship!
If you choose the "automatic" percentage, it's suicide!

·3 years agoI'm waiting for assistance regarding this type of rates, because I realized that by turning off all the sponsored ones (because they were affecting too much), now, after 10 days, I'm still receiving charges.
Let's hope they can clarify this, otherwise it's a very serious matter.
