I entered an incorrect address, the order status is awaiting shipment, I entered a new address and made it the primary one but the incorrect one still appears on the order. Do I need to do anything else?

·3 years agoThe address can be changed "on the fly" during the payment phase and NOT AFTER paying.
So if you don't want to waste time and money, you need to contact the seller immediately and let them know about the problem.
They'll cancel the order and you will have to (once the shipping address has been corrected) make the purchase again.

OP3 years agothanks I have already made the payment and it was actually the seller who confirmed the problem with the address now I'll try to pass along your solution and we'll see what to do

·3 years agoSince you've already paid, the seller has to cancel the sale (as they already told you), since they can't ship to an address changed by you afterward.
If you then come to an agreement, the seller will relist the item in a new listing and you will buy it again.
Keep in mind that this cancellation will cost the seller (for something that isn't their fault) at least the fixed fee of 0,35 cent, which won't be refunded to them. So if you want to be 100% fair, feel free to offer to pay a higher amount to cover this cost, so they understand that you're willing to buy the item again and that you're sorry for the inconvenience they had to go through.
