I would like to pay by bank transfer and get the invoice
it's likely that, being a newly registered user (yesterday) , you have no idea where you posted ............ this is the E-bay community (and so neither the seller nor support will reply to you) ;
anyway, as the other users said: on E-bay it is no longer possible to pay the seller directly by bank transfer and as for the invoice the seller must be professional ......... or turn to fortune-tellers, magicians, witches, or whatever you want to call them......
I would like to pay by bank transfer and have the invoice
Assuming that were still possible on eBay, if you paid by bank transfer, who would guarantee that you actually received the goods?
Who would cover any damage from shipping or receiving an item different from the description or the photos?
The era of bank transfers is long gone now; these days most payments are made by credit card and by methods that rely on it (see PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc).
Bank transfer, as they already told you, is prohibited as a form of payment on eBay, because with this payment method eBay can't provide any protection on purchases.
But then why not use the methods offered on eBay and therefore be covered by the eBay Customer Guarantee?
In general, an invoice and bank transfer are requested when you need to make a purchase of a good whose cost may be tax-deductible (e.g. building renovation, appliances,.....). In these cases, it’s much better to turn to stores or chains.
Sure. In any case, bank transfers, both on eBay and other platforms, as you already wrote, have been abolished, so either you go to stores or there's nothing to be done.
For the first thing, forget it: eBay no longer allows it. For the second, if the seller is registered as “professional” they can issue it to you; otherwise, no. Obviously you need to request it at the time of purchase (in fact, better before, by contacting the seller in advance). And obviously complete everything with your tax details (VAT number or tax code).
