Good evening, last week I bought some RAM, and at the time of delivery the BRT courier didn’t ask me for the code, which I think is essential for the value of the package, and without noticing before opening it the package had been tampered with and inside there weren’t the RAM I bought but some Pokemon cards. So I rightly opened a dispute with eBay, which I won tonight. eBay sent me the label and the courier the pickup request, while in chat they assured me not to worry about the refund, now the seller sends me this message:
Good evening,
we acknowledge eBay’s authorization for the return, without this implying in any way recognition that your complaint is well-founded. We will carry out the necessary checks through the courier, including verification of the parcel weight recorded at the various stations during transport. If such weighings are consistent with the one documented in our packing video and, in the absence of further evidence supporting your version of events, we will proceed with any appropriate dispute and protection in the competent forums, including against you, should elements emerge that are incompatible with what you stated.
Now, if as I think the courier pocketed the package, how can the weight come out correct? How will I be protected in that case?

·2 weeks agoIf ebay has accepted your request, you must return what you received and you will be refunded.
It will then be up to the seller to prove unequivocally that you or the courier tampered with the package.
If he succeeds in his endeavor (very difficult), he may consider whether it is worth it (depending a lot on the value of the goods) to report one of you for embezzlement. But he will have to do this in the proper venues and not on ebay.
