Bug for return non-conforming received item
Good morning everyone.
I should say that I’ve been using eBay for 14 years and I’ve never had any problems, but this time it went badly.
I started a return procedure for an item that arrived not as described compared to what I ordered (I ordered a watch and I received colored stones).
I opened the return process and 5 days have passed, but the seller still has not provided me with any label and has not offered to pay for the return shipping.
eBay tells me that after 3 days from opening the return (5 days have passed for me) it’s possible to ask for their intervention from the drop-down menu in purchase history, clicking on the option “ask eBay to intervene” but this option does not exist in the menu.
now I’m wondering what I should do to ask for eBay’s intervention since it’s been 5 days that I’ve been calling and support keeps telling me to wait without being able to tell me anything else?
I think there’s a bug in the drop-down menu or anyway a problem related to updating the status of a return.

·2 years agoAnyone who reads xferrisx sees not a problem to solve, but a number of actions already taken, for better or worse, that have generated other actions without much result. The English say that we Italians always ooze uncertainty, insecurity about everything. Of course! Here, all processes are complicated for the user. There, it's not like that. Out of curiosity, who did you buy the watch from? I don't want to know😎. I'll tell you how I would have done it as soon as I received the colored pebbles. I'm covered by eBay's buyer protection program and if I receive stones instead of binoculars, I immediately open a report for an item not as described, or as fake as Judas, or defective. The seller has a few days to take action. And if he doesn't... too bad for him. He has to take the pebbles back, willing or unwilling. That is all! But I may have missed something; in that case, don't take the answer into account. Best regards
