Good morning, for a few days now when I try to contact sellers I get this message:"
We apologize for the interruption.
While you were browsing eBay, your browser's behavior was interpreted as bot activity. This can happen for several reasons:"
I deleted cookies and cache, changed browser, tried on two different smartphones, tried on a PC and on various browsers, but the problem persists!! What can I do? I should contact a seller from whom I bought two items, but I can't anymore..

·2 years agoIf the problem is the connection IP, even if you change device the problem won’t change, in fact you’ll make it worse.
Have you tried changing the type of connection?
What happened to you is a symptom of using a VPN or a shared IP for anonymous browsing.
Kind regards.

OP2 years agoGood morning, thank you for the reply. On smartphone I tried both with the data connection and with Wi-Fi, and in two different browsers. On PC I tried with and without a VPN, but the problem persists. It really seems like a profile issue! I don't know how to get to the bottom of it

·2 years agoIf eBay has now registered the MAC address of the various devices you’ve used, you’re not getting out of it.
You need to try clearing everything, with a device you’ve never used and a clean connection.
Try it and let us know, thanks a lot.

OP2 years agoSo according to you what should I do? Should I use another smartphone, use its data connection and log in normally to the profile and try to send the message to the seller? right? That should work or should I do other steps? thanks

So I deduce that you use a VPN and/or similar systems that allow you to mask not only the IP but also other data.
Apparently a specific IP that has been blacklisted has been associated with your MAC address and machine ID, which is why you were blocked for security reasons.
In the meantime, it is advisable to use a traditional Italian connection and then try from another PC / virtual machine or from another smartphone.
Best regards.
