Follow the tracking: consider the storage period depending on the service chosen. Also send more than 1 message a few days apart to the buyer to remind them to collect the item within the storage period, otherwise it will be returned to the sender
Basically, document pretty much everything, if the package comes back to you because it wasn’t picked up, the reason will need to be assessed. If the buyer plays deaf, eBay should side with you, so it’s better to get ahead of it and contact eBay support via chat or even better, have them call you.
If, on the other hand, the buyer had an unexpected problem and still wants the item, they’ll have to pay for 1 new shipment and you’ll resend it. The last resort would be a refund for the item excluding the shipping costs you incurred.
it depends on the reason...... anyway if the tracking shows that the failure to collect is attributable to him, Ebay (theoretically) should rule against him in case of a dispute

·3 years agoReason why he didn’t pick up the parcel?
If he didn’t note any reservations for an opened or damaged parcel, this decision will backfire on the buyer.
If he were to open a refund request for item not received, tracking should be enough to prove him wrong.
