How do I get the customs fees back?

Hello, I made a purchase from China, today I picked up the package and, as I expected, customs charges came up to be paid, 81 euros and something. But the item is not the one I bought, that is, the seller posted photos of one set but sent me another. I spoke with eBay and the dispute is ongoing. Now I asked eBay about the customs duty, which is not their job, and they told me that some users, to get it reimbursed, contacted the revenue agency, but they didn’t know much. Can anyone tell me who to contact to get the customs money back? It doesn’t seem right to me that I should lose this money when it is absolutely not my fault.

customs are NOT refundable.
You were the one who imported an item into Italy, so it's right that you paid it... if the item then wasn't what you wanted, customs really can't do anything about that.

Everyone told me the opposite, if the item is broken or defective everything is returned, maybe even other reasons count too but those two are CERTAIN !
It doesn't matter who the money goes to, if it's not owed it shouldn't be given, period!
