Debt with eBay, the post office lost me a registered package
I have a question to put to you guys. And I’m very upset. I sent a package to a guy in Finland. After two weeks we found out that the package had problems at the international exchange center. Contacting the post office and eBay, no one was able to figure out what happened. In return, the buyer was reimbursed and they blocked my account with a debt to pay because, according to eBay’s rules, I didn’t provide any more details about the actual address I wrote. And they decided to do this despite having the means and the tracking code of a registered shipment. Now if they were expecting me to still have the shipping slip, unfortunately I no longer have it but I can try to get it back from the post office from which I sent the package. How do I proceed? How can I file an appeal?

·3 years agoThe buyer must receive the item they purchased.
If tracking shows that the package has been lost, the buyer must be refunded.
The refund is the seller's responsibility.
If you insured the shipment, you can contact the post office directly to request compensation.
If you did not insure the shipment, try taking a look at the postal service charter

And check whether you are entitled to any kind of compensation.

·3 years agoIn cases like this, an appeal would be of little use; if the package wasn’t delivered for any reason, in any case you should have refunded the buyer.
So, since these are things you have to factor in, I think all you can do is accept it... and pay the debt on your account, which, if you don’t settle it, ebay will send to collections.
