I made a purchase and after a few days I ask when the item will be delivered. The seller replies evasively that it will be shipped the following week, and then after the shipping deadline Ebay asks me how it went. Rightly I say that there has been no delivery and that I want the goods, but the seller refunds my money.
As a result, as is only right, I leave negative feedback because the deadlines were not respected and that's where the problems start: I get a WhatsApp message saying that if I don't remove the negative feedback I will be reported for defamation of image… so to avoid problems and also because I don't get involved in these petty things, I change the feedback to positive even though I don't think it's right..

First of all, the feedback should be read to understand whether its content could be posted or not.
Ebay has made two links available that you can read regarding feedback.
The articles serve to give some general guidelines, then common sense on the part of the buyer has to do the rest.

For example, feedback like that neutral one you left could have been entered quite easily, mainly to let other buyers know that that seller was not respecting shipping times.
"shipping times not respected, sale cancelled"
Without adding much else because the seller may have felt forced to cancel because he saw that you were losing patience and, to avoid further problems, chose this route.
Obviously I’m taking it for granted that we’re talking about shipping times not respected by more than seven working days and not 1 or 2 days, because at that point the problem is ours for living in an ideal world that usually does not correspond to what we would like it to be, so a certain degree of patience and flexibility is necessary.
Kind regards

·1 year agoIf it wasn’t defamatory, I’m wondering why they would change it to something positive, guilty conscience?

OP1 year agoNo defamation at all, just negative because it hadn’t been delivered to me; in fact I pointed this out, nothing else…

·1 year agoIf the feedback left was defamatory, the seller had every right to report you.
So be careful what you write... feedback is public!
Good afternoon.
