Warranty
Hello, I bought a 12 volt fridge. After receiving it I thought it was working perfectly, but in reality after having it switched on for a while I realized that it no longer manages to cool. I contacted the seller to report the defect and ask for a replacement because all this happened in less than two months, but the seller only gives me suggestions for a possible DIY repair. Why can’t eBay step in to enforce the warranty right if the seller refuses? What can I do?

·1 year agoYou’ve been registered on eBay since 2005 and have a lot of feedback; you should know that once the 30-day period from the date you received the item is over, for eBay everything is closed.
Try to see whether your fridge brand has some kind of support service, so you can contact them.
In that case, the receipt / invoice are valid for warranty purposes.
Kind regards.

·1 year agoEbay isn’t like Amazon; ebay doesn’t sell anything. As a platform, it only guarantees that you receive what you ordered.
After that, it’s a relationship between you and the seller. You will only be entitled to the legal guarantee if the seller is a professional with a registered office in one of the EU countries.
