eBay customer guarantee
If I buy an item paid for via Paypal, in case of problems (item not received, not as described in the listing) after the 30 days allowed by eBay's buyer protection, is it eventually possible to open a dispute with Paypal?

OP3 years agoHi, I need to make a return. I contacted the seller and he will send the courier to pick up the package, and the return costs will be covered by him. As for the label, will he provide it? Then how should I proceed?

·3 years agoIf GLS is coming to pick it up, then you definitely don’t need to fill out any waybill.
If it’s another courier, you probably need to print the waybill to attach to the package.
You need to contact the seller and ask them who is coming to collect the return and whether you need to print the waybill or not, which they need to send you by email so that you can then print it.
Kind regards.

OP3 years agoBut do I still have to open the return process? Because right now I haven’t opened any process, I’ve only contacted the seller via messages.

OP3 years agoI received the label and I have to go to the post office because the seller chose poste delivery web. But does the label have to be applied to the package? On the shipping label it says do not cut out, action to be taken by the postal operator or courier.
One last thing...the label is bigger than the parcel, could you suggest how I could apply it?

·3 years agoThe label you received needs to be printed and then applied to the package and taken to the post office.
You can also go to the post office with the label in hand and then the postal operator will take care of applying it to the package using a special transparent envelope/bag.
With the prepaid label you do not have to pay anything.
If the label is too big, you can make it a little smaller by resizing it during printing, but don't make it too small or it will become illegible.
Alternatively, you can use a bigger box so that the label in its original size can be applied without any problems.
Kind regards.

·3 years agoeBay Customer Guarantee is faster and more comprehensive (e.g. it requires the seller to cover return shipping costs for non-conformities) and is always preferable as a first alternative.
If the eBay Customer Guarantee period has already expired, you can file a PayPal dispute. If you paid through a credit card linked to your account, you can also do a chargeback on the credit card within 13 months of purchase.

OP3 years agoHi Mario, if a claim is opened with eBay and the outcome is in favor of the seller, is it then possible to open a claim with PayPal?
