Product warranty (hair clippers)
I bought a hair clipper here on eBay, the product arrived and it worked. But how does the warranty work (besides, I'd also like to know how long it lasts)? I didn't receive anything like a receipt, if in 2/3 weeks or maybe in 3 months, 6 months, etc. I were to have problems, what should I do? I bought a professional hair clipper from a well-known brand and the shop is an official reseller of this brand. The seller replied quickly in the three days before the purchase, now that I've asked this information they haven't replied.

·3 years agoAccording to EU regulations, the 24-month legal warranty is an obligation that applies to all professional sellers with their legal headquarters in an EU country. https://www.agcm.it/pubblicazioni/dettaglio?id=411fd8e5-67bf-4163-a12d-8af10dfc351f&parent=Vademecum&parentUrl=/pubblicazioni/mini-guide

OP3 years agoThanks for the replies... and how can I enforce this warranty, given that the package arrived with the product but with nothing inside like a receipt, etc.?

·3 years agoThe receipt serves to prove the purchase from that seller. The same thing can also be done by the eBay transaction printout.
Since then you have to contact the seller, nothing else is needed. It’s important that it’s from within the EU, otherwise there’s no guarantee at all.

OP3 years agoSo if, within the 24 months of the legal warranty, I have problems I need to contact the seller, maybe sending a screenshot of the eBay transaction printout, and I have the right to have the problem resolved. I had doubts because for 3 days we exchanged messages and he replied within a few minutes; once the hair clipper arrived, I sent the message about the warranty (a question I had also asked before ordering, but he hadn’t replied to) but he hasn’t replied to me anymore.
