I purchased an annual subscription to a pay TV service and after 4 months it no longer works.
The seller has disappeared, can I recover anything or am I already screwed?

·3 years agoSorry about what happened, but after 30 days you can’t do anything. It would also be useful to know whether you received a physical shipment or, as I imagine, just a code, and in that last case whether it was through personal email exchanges between the two of you (if so, you can’t do anything anymore) or a message on eBay.
If you paid with Paypal, you’d still be in time to open a claim there, but after 4 months of use your chances of getting a ruling in your favor will be weaker. Anyway, you have nothing to lose by trying: track down the transaction in your purchase history, the item number, and provide some proof that it gives you an expired code.
