No one can give you certainty that everything will go well with the private seller you want to do business with.
You need to check, respectively:
How long the seller has been registered.
If they have recently made sales (check expired sales)
If they have negative feedback and what the reasons for those negatives are.
If they have a sufficient number of feedbacks that can confirm they work well.
In any case, it could also be a new seller with zero feedback.
On eBay, if you pay by credit card or PayPal, you are protected in case:
You do not receive the item
You receive an item that does not match the description or the photos.
Personally, I’d feel fine about it.
