I sold a PSP after receiving a purchase offer, but the buyer disappeared!!
Since February 11 they haven't responded to the messages I sent, not even after I sent the invoice.
How should I proceed?
Since buyers seem to be the only ones protected, is it possible to leave negative feedback?
Also because this person appears to have all positive feedback (over 270) but hasn't bought anything in years.
It all seems very strange to me.
So how should I proceed?

hypothesis 2 : maybe he was NOT seriously interested in buying
hypothesis 3 : he had problems that prevented him from proceeding with the payment......
in short, I lean toward 2 ;
anyway, without dwelling too much on the hypotheses, do as Mario suggested : cancel the order for non-payment of the item with a simultaneous warning to the buyer, also it wouldn't be a bad idea to add him to the blacklist of "undesirables" and, if you want, report the buyer if you believe he violated Ebay procedures (link below )

NOTE aside : as indicated by Vonbalden, putting up a "purchase offer" often and willingly turns out to be harmful..... in my opinion it is far preferable to list the item with "buy it now" by setting immediate payment WITHOUT purchase offer..... you can always lower the price later and anyway the new price will then be visible to all potential interested parties.....

·1 year agoPurchase offers open up an entire panorama of situations that do not produce the effect of a sale, but very often the effect of giving up. I had already expressed my opinion on another occasion, but I repeat it gladly.
The seller who accepts an offer is as if, between the lines, he were saying to the world of potential interested buyers: have you seen my Play Station? Used only by me and sometimes by my wife, honestly. But today I’m fit for a hospital! I even accept offers when I already have a price that doesn’t fear competitors! Honestly, whoever sends a lowball offer isn’t all that interested. They do it out of a curiosity that dies out after a few moments. The seller, on the other hand, is just waiting to cash in. And in a few moves reveals all his haste to get as much as possible home. The messages start, the requests for clarification, appeals are made to the word given, and other more drastic initiatives. Exactly like that guy who, with flowers in hand, waited in vain for the arrival of the bombshell of the moment he thought he had in the palm of his hand. Let’s leave purchase offers among the range of initiatives to encourage sales on the market place. Because the seller and his object must shine with their own light. Without encouragement pushes that remind one of those used by large retailers. Best regards.

·1 year agoProbably on Subito or Vinted, buyers who commit to buying don't face any consequences if they then get swallowed by a black hole and end up not paying.
Good on eBay for sanctioning such behavior (personally, it's only happened to me once).

There, buyers who vanish are the order of the day...
As said by the "always on the ball" Mario, all you can do is report it (or set your sales preferences so that this happens automatically after x days from the sale).

The reported buyer will receive a kind of warning; the first one has no effect, but subsequent warnings (for the same reason) will lead to increasing restrictions on buying on eBay.
