If a package is not picked up, is it possible to get a full refund?

For information, I ask, as per the title: if I made a purchase on eBay - from an account registered as a private seller - had it delivered to a pickup point and, subsequently, due to various unforeseen issues I wasn't able to collect it, would the package be returned to the sender and would I receive a full refund?

Hi sam_fisher-05

The package stays at the pickup point for up to 14 days, so make arrangements to pick it up in time if you don’t want to risk losing the item and your money.

Not a refund through eBay. If you don't pick up the package, the seller has no responsibility and shouldn't have to lose the shipping costs too.

You need to contact the seller to ask for a new shipment at your expense or a partial refund.
