This week I bought an item on eBay from a private seller with 274 positive feedbacks. When I received the product (a PSVITA), I noticed that the screen had superficial scratches and an error every time I turned on the console. I asked for a return through eBay with photos attached, and the seller replied to me "console startup error"???I wonder why you have 100% positive feedback????"I told him I was available to do a video call to show him, and he replied:"Forget it, you're a smartass, I figured it out from day one. 150 € means nothing to me, but smartasses like this really piss me off. Remember that everything comes back, sooner or later."So he accepted my return (even though he didn't issue me any prepaid label). I'm afraid that, given the person in question, as soon as he receives the item he'll deliberately break it so he doesn't have to refund me at all — how can I avoid this? Also, would it be possible to report him to eBay?
