Good morning,
I ordered a product from an eBay seller, sold to me as new, but without packaging.
When it arrived, though, it turned out to be heavily used and not working. As suggested by the seller, I submitted a return request.
Now the package has arrived back to the seller, but after seeing that the item is in fact not new but used, he is asking me to withdraw the refund request or he will report me for fraud.
I have the photos of the item he sent me and that I had shown the seller right away, reporting that the item was not as described and not working, so he knew what would be sent back.
Now I’d like to understand what risk I face if this report actually goes ahead.
The amount involved is around a hundred euros, but I feel cheated. and mistreated. but I wouldn’t want to run into bigger problems in the future, even though I’m clearly in the right.
What advice do you have on this?

·1 year agofor the procedure as indicated by Sika .... so in short, proceed as if nothing had happened, ignoring the seller and any future complaint from him (which, theoretically, he could make, but which in practice, also because of the costs, loss of time and presumed lack of grounds, he will very likely never make...... )

if you have opened the correct return procedure and followed it carefully, indicating the resulting delivered tracking number, if the seller does not refund you within 4 days, ask eBay to intervene:

Absolutely do not close the request, and even less let yourself be intimidated by a supposed complaint... a complaint for what, anyway??

OP1 year agothey claim that I would have made a product different from the one sent to me.
honestly, if it had worked I would have kept it even if it was used.
