Possible scam

Good morning, on December 8 I bought a Shure microphone at a discounted price from a certain dabe-2506. The seller had 100% positive feedback and was in Spain - so in the EU - and, in my excitement, I didn’t notice that he only had 1 feedback and had joined eBay less than two months earlier.
When, 10 days later, the item still hadn’t been shipped, I became suspicious and tried writing several times without getting a response. I then tried to cancel the order and the seller رفضed the cancellation. The expected delivery date kept being pushed back and the package didn’t appear to have been shipped. Now, after the last expected arrival date for the never-shipped package has passed, I managed to open a claim for the item not received. eBay’s automatic response is to contact the seller, who will refund me. Obviously the seller isn’t replying. Now, if I understand correctly, after another week passes without anything happening, eBay should automatically start a refund process. Of course I’m worried because I think the scam was intentional and that the seller is much more experienced than me with eBay’s automatic policies. I’m very bitter about the fact that eBay doesn’t have a customer service I can contact directly, only automatic procedures. Has anything like this ever happened to anyone? Do I just have to wait and then eBay will refund me automatically, or is there something that can be done? Thanks.

·1 year agoIf eBay didn’t have customer service and everything were left to automation, there would be countless problems, since the automation could not help but fail if something didn’t go according to protocol.

·1 year agoAside from the fact that you should remove the seller's name because it's against the forum policies, all you can do is wait for the automatic procedure: if they don't send a valid shipping code, eBay will refund the amount spent.
