defective product, seller no longer responds and it's impossible to get eBay to intervene | Rules and safety

Good morning, a few months ago I bought a product on ebay and after 2 months of use I contacted the seller to report some issues I had encountered. After exchanging a few emails, the seller offered me at most a 30% refund or returning the product. Now 20 days have passed and I have sent several emails to the seller but they no longer respond. I had asked whether, by returning the product, they would give me a full refund or send me a new product, but they no longer reply. I tried to submit the return and refund process, but in the order list the order does not appear so I can start the process. I searched on ebay to see if there was any way I could contact ebay to have them intervene, but I keep getting this message: I am completely stuck with a defective product in my hands and I can't return it or contact ebay. Can anyone help me get out of this? Also, this is about 300 euros, so it's a significant amount.Thanks,Invinder
