Returned for damaged item but with shipping insurance (me, the seller)
Hello, I sent a card as the seller, the same way I always send my cards, which have never had any problems. In this case, since it had a higher value, I decided to use eBay's web shipping and also insure the full sale value. The item arrived damaged and I was asked for a refund. How should I proceed? How is the insurance supposed to be used, and can it be used?

The Packlink shipping insurance is subject to terms and restrictions.
Once you have checked the requirements, you need to ask the buyer for cooperation, since the eBay refund procedure is one thing and any refund with eBay shipping is another thing.
If the buyer opens an eBay claim, you will have to refund them; after that, if they are willing to support you regarding the Packlink case, okay, otherwise without the buyer's cooperation you will not be able to proceed.
Buyer cooperation means that they must keep all packaging and labels, take the relevant photos, and then follow the various requests of the compensation procedure.
Good luck.
Kind regards

you will need to follow this guide very carefully:
The essential requirements for opening a claim for damage, loss or theft/tampering – Packlink ebay
You will therefore need to provide a series of documents they ask for and prove that everything was done in the required way.
Best regards.
