I had bought some leather pouches, the seller sent me a package containing cheap junk meant to mimic the presence of those pouches.The product is marked as delivered.Ebay forces a return as the only way.I print the label, but the label lists as the contents the very leather pouches I did NOT receive, meaning I’m being asked to lie when sending it back to the seller.I pointed this out to an Ebay operator who told me that Ebay’s shipping system does not allow these things to happen because packages are opened and checked.In other words, Ebay only guarantees the purchase in words (this item had Ebay guarantee) because if you are then sent something other than what you bought, in practice you cannot return it without having to put something different from what was declared on the label into the return shipment.I had to close the claim (what else could I have done?) and swallow the loss.No more big, ongoing purchases like I used to make on Ebay, a failed purchase protection system.
