Refund

Good evening everyone, I sold an item through this for 900 Euro. The customer received the package, although a few days late, but wanted to return it. He claims he shipped it back, which is absolutely not true, and on top of that eBay sided with the buyer and refunded him in full. Now I have neither the item nor the money. Can someone help me? You must have made some PROCEDURAL ERROR because when the buyer ships it, they have to enter the tracking code.

If they didn't do that and eBay sided with them, it's likely that within the time window available to you to provide a return label, you did it.

Unfortunately, distance sales can be tricky when you don't know the procedures well.

If you accepted the return because they changed their mind, the refund is issued only after the package is shown as delivered to your address.

If, on the other hand, the return was requested due to non-conformity (since the package arrived very late, not 1-2 days), it was up to you to provide the buyer with the return label. If you did not do so within the 3 working days you had available, you lost ebay's protection and will have to deal with the buyer directly through legal channels.
