If you have already had problems with eBay, since you have zero feedback I recommend starting with low-value items to get some practice with the platform.
If you say you want your money back, it probably means you had problems with a sale.
If you want to deactivate the SEPA mandate, you need to try contacting your bank to deactivate it; if you can’t, rest assured that if you stop selling on eBay, eBay will no longer withdraw money from your account.
But if you’re afraid it might do that, one solution would be to go to "account --> payments" and add a bank account that you’ll always keep at zero.
You can’t delete a bank account from eBay, you can only change it.
As an additional alternative, you can close / delete your eBay account.

The eBay SEPA mandates always remain active on the checking account, even if they are removed from the eBay account. The eBay bank has to revoke them from its customers’ respective checking accounts, even though I don’t understand why it doesn’t do it despite the fact that I’ve reported it to eBay support several times.
certainly, if you want to revoke direct debits for electricity or gas bills this procedure is correct. For eBay SEPA mandates it is completely useless.
Excuse me, but a direct debit is always the same... so whether for bills or for eBay the thing is exactly identical and can be revoked at any time.
eBay does not use the "mandate" but simply an SDD, that is, a SEPA direct debit which is equivalent to a direct debit.

but it is absolutely not true that all direct debits are the same. It depends on the type of mandate, which in the case of eBay, since it does not join the SEDA circuit, can be revoked only and exclusively by the creditor company, that is, eBay's bank, and not by the account holder. I entered this discussion because I thought someone had managed to cancel the eBay mandate from their bank account, but instead I read that they solved it by closing the postepay or anyway the IBAN where it was set up as a direct debit. In this regard, one has to ask why eBay keeps the SEPA mandates active on sellers' bank accounts even if they are removed or changed in their account. Personally, eBay support answered me in a simplistic way that the important thing is that there are no more charges on that current account removed from the eBay account... even if, in banking-postal terms, the direct debit remains active. I will try to contact customer support again in case something has changed, maybe I don't know, send them some signed request so that eBay's bank can proceed with the cancellation of the mandate, since that is the only way for the revocation to go through successfully.
In my online banking I have the "Revoke" button... so the problem isn't eBay support... eBay doesn't have any bank... I think you need to contact your bank.
It can't not be in the Sepa network, since direct debits are also called SDD mandates, that is Sepa Direct Debit.

I'm glad for her that she managed to resolve it. I think she's the only one. We need to see whether it went through with the "Revoke" button on her home banking. I contacted both the bank and the post office, and they all confirm what I wrote earlier.

Hello. I have the exact same problem and I can't solve it in any way. Even by deleting the eBay account, the mandate remains valid. I need to delete the account, but I was told that if I don't revoke the mandate with eBay, I can't delete the account. Moreover, no, I can't revoke the eBay mandate just with a button from the dashboard on the post office website. I can't even contact eBay customer service, I have no idea whether there is a phone number or an email address. If you have any updates, please let me know!

if you have online banking you can deactivate it yourself, otherwise you need to ask the bank...
Remember that if you want to sell, you need to specify another method for automatic charges.
