Suggestions for the platform

Good morning everyone!
I would like to make some suggestions, as a professional seller, to improve our selling experience:

1.- Provide the email

If it is to avoid off-eBay contact between buyer and seller, now we’re given the phone number anyway! The email is useful to give to the courier so that all delivery communications can reach the buyer directly

2.- Rating stars.

I find the stars related to shipping costs unfair. If the shipping amount is clear, the customer accepts it or doesn’t, there’s no point in accepting it and then complaining afterwards (I use a courier, I charge € 8 up to 2 kg of goods)

3.- Negative feedback for the buyer

I find it unfair that the seller should only have to suffer the whims of those who buy with no possible defense.

The email is provided right after the buyer’s payment, the email address is encrypted for privacy reasons and to avoid scams and spam, but you can safely use it to send emails to the buyer.
The same goes for the phone number, which you can possibly use with WhatsApp.

the stars for “shipping and packaging costs” have a slightly lower weight than the other items in the Seller Performance calculation.
This is because eBay knows that in some categories (e.g. bulky items or international shipping) the costs do not depend entirely on the seller.

3.- Negative feedback for the buyer
I find it unfair that the seller should only have to put up with the whims of the buyer without any possible defense.
Many years ago eBay allowed negative feedback to be left for buyers, but over time it was then understood that the seller (who provided the service) could not be equated with the buyer (who requested the service).
