attempted fraud
I’d like to report an attempted scam by a certain **** (who, incidentally, doesn’t appear to be a registered member) who claims to be contacting me from the USA. After making me a purchase offer, he tells me it’s actually a gift and asks me to include a 500-euro Amazon gift card in the package. I immediately get an email from Paypal saying the money is available (among other things, he added 50 euros as a gift for the inconvenience...) but that to unlock it I first have to buy the card (how did Paypal know about the card???) I receive other follow-up emails, badly translated too. He’ll probably try again with other names. Forewarned is forearmed
