Hello,

I bought a product on eBay from a seller who did not accept returns. After I received the item, I realized that it was a copy of the item for sale, clearly a fake.

I agreed with the seller to return the item in exchange for a refund of the purchase amount. I returned the item (I have confirmation of receipt of the package), but the seller no longer responds to my requests.

I made a product return request on eBay, specifying that the product has already been returned.

Can you tell me if this is the right course of action.

If there is correspondence between you and the seller in the messages showing that you notified the seller of a problem and sent the item, you can probably still do something by contacting eBay support.

If, on the other hand, everything went through WhatsApp, for example, the seller could take advantage of the situation.

Hello,

the correct way was to open a return request directly on eBay BEFORE sending it back on your own, and if then the seller wanted nothing to do with it, you asked eBay to step in... you probably still have time:
