scam by the Albanian staff, money blocked for 170 days, no eBay policy says this
I feel scammed by the Albanian staff, because for 2 months they made my money disappear, deleted all my listings out of nowhere, and as of today, on the phone they tell me to go ahead and file a complaint.....they are thieves, tonight I will proceed to report the entire Albanian staff for fraud, who operate this way by blocking people’s funds, and probably making them disappear, also because I have not broken any eBay rules, and this Albanian staff has only caused me problems, on the platform, and financially, since my money appears to be unlocked but never transferred to my account

·2 years agoThe items were bought legitimately at a newsstand, and as a private individual I can sell an item of mine, new or used, whatever it may be.... I have not broken any eBay rule, and I feel scammed by this staff that for 2 months has been telling me to wait 170 days, and in no eBay law for sellers does it say that funds must be blocked for this number of days.... Illegal then, my dear, it’s you, but how dare you.... I’m a private individual and as a private individual I have 150 free listings a month, and up to now, I have not broken any eBay rule or law, on the contrary the one who was wronged is me, who has 100% positive feedback, the customer after receiving it left his super positive review, and to this day I find myself reporting this thing day after day, in my opinion a scam... In fact I’m not the only one they’ve done this to, and as a private individual, a law-abiding citizen, I will act legally because I feel scammed, through the consumer service, also because the money shows as unblocked, but they enjoy not sending it to me or keeping it for themselves... A scam.... It’s pointless to defend it, the seller suffered a wrong from the incompetent staff or scam operators, and as a seller, I will do everything I can to recover both my money and prevent this from continuing to happen, bravo and honest sellers.....

It's not true that it's not written anywhere; it's written there, but almost nobody reads it.
The Albanian staff you're talking about doesn't exist; eBay in Albania has a call center (because in Italy it cost too much, then there's the community which is free) that has no decision-making power, it simply does what it's told to do.
A freeze on money for that long definitely has a reason, but you should have been notified. 170 days still haven't passed anyway and, in my opinion, it's pointless to keep contacting the call center; instead, try to find the communication eBay should have sent you.

·2 years agoThe only communication was this: 170 days before the money was unlocked, even though I hadn't broken any eBay rules or policies, and I still find myself with my money blocked even after the buyer left super positive feedback

·2 years agoThat said, with the first account you have only 1 sale........ with the second 0, so claiming to have 100% positive feedback with that track record seems at the very least out of place...... ( not to mention something else..... ) :
anyway, if they blocked everything for 170 days and closed your listings, it seems pretty obvious to me that you violated something in the rules ( and pretty seriously too ....... )

·2 years agoIt seems obvious to me that the problem isn't the buyer's feedback; for 170 days of blockage, the problem is much more serious, only you can know what it is, neither the community nor the "Albanian staff".

·2 years agoThe only thing I did was sell an item, the customer left feedback, account suspension and deletion of all listings, and funds blocked

·2 years agoBe careful about reporting it... because it could backfire on you... you were selling NEW items with a private account... and as a private seller, it’s against the rules to sell new items!
Best regards.

·2 years agoThat said, there is no Albanian staff and not even an "eBay law"; at most, a "customer service that replies from Albania" and the "rules" you accepted when you signed up for the platform.
Also, two months is 60 days and not 170...
We’re missing some details to answer the "why" and the "how" of the block, that is, whether there were disputes, restrictions, etc. etc. in place.
This is because, without a plausible reason (and one included in the rules), in the absence of that eBay does not block anything.
