Terrible seller
Good morning eBay, I had a terrible experience with the seller in France, from whom I purchased 13 items that first of all arrived after almost 4 months, then in the first shipment he got the address wrong and when refunding me the shipping costs he kept about €25.
I received a refund on the shipping of about €65 + €12 for the total shipping of the items ordered, so about €25 is missing that he kept.
Could legal action be taken against the seller

·1 year agoThen if you let 4 months pass without opening a dispute for an item not received, it means that the rules on eBay were not followed, maybe you made private arrangements with the seller who went along with you.
If he had entered the wrong shipping address as you say, maybe you had entered a WRONG shipping address?
Usually the seller does not make up shipping addresses but uses the address provided by eBay.
So if he sent the items to another address, he was only doing you a favor because he could have refused and you would have lost the item and the money.
Then if the items arrived after 4 months, it means you always made arrangements with the seller; otherwise, after 30 days from the estimated delivery date, you should have opened a dispute for item not received.
The answer to the question "Could legal action be taken against the seller"
In my opinion it is not worth it because you too have almost certainly violated eBay rules, so you could end up being in the wrong, and then the costs of legal action for an বিদেশ seller are quite high and I don't think it would be worth it.
Best regards.

A cordial greeting.
