Seller refuses to pay return shipping
Hello everyone, I bought a smartphone battery that said "Original" in the listing.
After taking the phone in for repair, I was told it was not original and that it could not possibly be, because the brand that makes my smartphone model does not sell parts separately.
I also found many differences between the battery I bought and the one that is now worn out, which was original to my smartphone.
I have started the return process, but I have not shipped it yet because the seller refuses to refund the shipping costs as well, even though it says "Original Battery", and so the listing does not match the item.
What should I do?

I have already started the return process (except that initially I had put "change of mind" because I thought it was less harmful for the seller), and 3 days have passed, but I don’t have the option to ask eBay to intervene.
Do I have to ship the item for it to appear?
Or is it possible to cancel the procedure and reactivate it with the reason of item not as described?

·3 years agoUnfortunately, you were wrong. For change of mind, return shipping costs are your responsibility.
