Ridiculous that Business accounts have to ask for help from assistants who look like elementary school kids. It’s impossible to talk back and forth to explain to them how to solve a problem with eBay functions. As soon as they run into difficulty, they abandon the chat. We’ve been asking for a technician’s intervention for 5 months and we can’t solve the problem of uploading files. Something unbelievable. eBay made huge changes in Italy, it removed the professionals who used to assist us and sent us schoolkids. Today our businesses are at risk on eBay with what’s out there, while others even give us a WhatsApp number for contacts and, in some cases, the intervention with a web meeting to share the screen, and to get to the root of the problem in 100% OF CASES THEY ALWAYS SOLVE IT. eBay in this case preferred to save big on customer support but still takes the same fees on final sales, a lot on sponsored costs. While others don’t charge for the shop, listings, and are the ones sponsoring for you, eBay even takes earnings from taxes outside the European community. I think our business should have experiences elsewhere; eBay is no longer cutting-edge, too much in decline with support and with the services it offers. You pay even for air and then it’s you who, if you contact support, has to explain things to them. At the first difficulty they close the chat and you’re back to square one. The technicians’ emails are always copy-paste the same things and nothing ever gets solved. Today we decide it’s no longer worth staying; we will take note of refunding our 180 current orders and let others realize it’s no longer worth staying.
