Poste Italiane – US Customs Duty Management: shipments delivered, but no invoice and no information. What have you heard?

Good morning everyone, I’m starting this discussion to gather real experiences from business sellers who use Poste Italiane for shipments to the United States with the Gestione Dazi USA service. Our shipments are regularly cleared and delivered via USPS, but after months we still haven’t received any invoice, report, or breakdown of the duties applied. I have contacted Poste Italiane at least 10–15 times by phone, PEC, email, and ticket. The answer, when it comes, is always the same: no one can provide precise information. Even the operators and the relevant departments don’t seem to know how the service actually works. The situation has gotten to the point where even our account manager told us: “If you find out something, let me know” , because he doesn’t even receive internal guidance. It’s absurd that a company has to ship without knowing: when the invoices will arrive; which duties were applied; which rate was used; how to check the costs for each shipment; how to calculate the sale price correctly. I invite all sellers who have already used this service to share their experience: have you received invoices or charges? After how long? Did you get a detailed report? Was anyone at Poste able to give you a concrete answer? Given the total silence from the official channels, let’s at least try to gather information directly from those who are actually using the service.

Claim for item not received because the package was not collected

Hello, I am a professional seller. The buyer did not pick up the package at the pickup point because he wrote that he was on vacation. Now the package is being returned. He opened a dispute and wants a refund, but according to eBay's rules, he is responsible for the failed delivery. So, if I contact eBay, they will decide in my favor, right? And they will remove any negative feedback. Is that correct?

Sale item in Canada, requests compensation for item not arrived, is compensated and the package is delivered and he picks it up without any issues

Hello, I wanted to share this misadventure, I sold a Vintage Toy to a Canadian user, while the package was in transit, he asked to be compensated for an item not delivered, I explained to eBay that the package is regularly in transit, all of it can be documented in the tracking, he asked for intervention from customer service which, without much preamble, decided to reimburse him on 12/06/2026, I appeal to tell them that the package is in transit but nothing, meanwhile the user blocks me by putting me on a blacklist and no longer replies to my messages, the package keeps moving and yesterday 29/06/2026 it was delivered to the user who collected it regularly, official eBay tracking that shows it as delivered, they removed the call, I submitted the request several times via chat, I want to see if they give me a hand, because I call this a SCAM, I can't find any other words to comment on it . I repeat, trackable package, tracking on Poste Italiane and regularly delivered yesterday to the user who picked it up without any problems, basically I lost the item / shipping costs / paid the fees ????? for free ........... Thanks !!! Best regards to everyone .

Recommendation for a reliable courier to avoid tampering with packages

Hello, I AM ASKING FOR ADVICE ON A RELIABLE COURIER. I'm experiencing serious and very frequent problems with tampering of the packages I ship. I'm a very small seller of collectible cards, I sell some cards from my collection to pay for new purchases, but lately my packages have been tampered with and delivered opened to the buyer. Obviously they are left directly in the mailbox without ringing so that I can't make a claim. I was wondering, does anyone know a reliable courier that reimburses in these cases, or at least one that is less likely to tamper with packages? At the moment I've tried Poste Italiane directly or with Packlink and it seems that collectible cards are not reimbursed even in the event of tampering/theft. I'm also looking for a more expensive courier, but one that can get the cards to the buyer intact. As a collector myself, beyond the money and time spent, I know the frustration of not receiving the cards I ordered, because of course I run into this problem from time to time as a buyer too. Thanks to anyone who replies :)

Package not delivered due to damage

Good morning everyone, I bought a card from Canada and the delivery date was June 12, then it was pushed back to June 15. On that day I received a call from the Bartolini company, but I didn’t have time to answer. After calling back, I was informed about an anomaly with the package, but without specifying the problem. After countless emails and calls, they told me that the package is damaged and that it will not be delivered, and to contact the seller. eBay won’t let me report that the package hasn’t arrived because the latest delivery date shown is July 8 and I have to wait until that day. What should I do? The delivery company is washing its hands of it, saying to contact the seller, and eBay won’t let me report the package as not arrived. Where will the package end up? Will it be sent back to the seller? Is there no way to receive it anyway, assess the damage, and report it to eBay? Can anyone help me?
