Today I read this message and it made my blood boil. It’s incredible how on eBay there are so many sellers who undercut prices in our sector, selling without a VAT number, and eBay lets them do it. Not only that, but since these users have no tax burden like we companies do, they undercut prices and make the market and sales to honest companies that pay taxes collapse. eBay, instead of fighting these users (a private seller who lists 10+ available, does custom color options, etc.), rewards them by removing every selling fee and allowing them to illegally flood the market. Personally, I’ve expanded onto platforms where only businesses can sell, and sales have increased exponentially compared to eBay. Am I really the only one who’s stunned by this situation?
