hello, I’ve been fighting with eBay for months about their counterfeit item detection systems. My listings get suspended one time and then again, and now they’ve put restrictions on my account.
what’s the problem? MY MERCHANDISE IS ALL ORIGINAL! I’VE ALWAYS FILED APPEALS AND SENT PROOF SUCH AS INVOICES, DETAILED PHOTOS OF THE ITEM, PHOTOS AND SCREENSHOTS OF ORDER EMAILS FROM AUTHORIZED RETAILERS, and they’ve never checked ANY of it, and after 4 listings flagged by their systems, now I have a restricted account. it’s impossible to talk to anyone, I’ve pestered them a million times by email and never got any replies, it’s become a mess without phone support, I really don’t know what to do.

·3 weeks agoSeeing a listing would have helped understand what, in eBay’s thinking, might not be right, for example the VE.Ro. program... without seeing it it’s impossible to understand... oh well

OP3 weeks agoWell, does that mean I can't sell anything on eBay? I had listed some Nike and New Balance (shoes), and it seems to me that eBay is full of similar listings. If it were forbidden to sell goods with registered trademarks, what is someone supposed to sell on eBay? Only what they make themselves? So I don't think that's really the point, because shoes, but clothes in general or anything with a registered trademark, make up 99% of the listings on eBay. My listings are all hidden precisely because they applied restrictions to my account, thanks to their fantastic AI. So, I still don't understand the point of these responses.

OP3 weeks agoaccount or no account doesn’t matter. the problem is: I list an item, eBay’s AI flags it as counterfeit goods, which of course it isn’t, and I attach invoices, order emails, with the sender clearly visible, and everything else I can attach. eBay doesn’t even look at this and closes my listing. I used to solve this in the past by calling, but now without phone support it’s a nightmare because I only get bot and AI responses that are disconnected and unrelated to what I’m asking. is it clearer now? If, by attaching proof during the appeal and in emails, there’s no way out, what should I do? my account now has all listings hidden for 3 days since it’s not the first time one of my listings has been blocked for counterfeit goods (which I repeat, it obviously ISN’T). I don’t know how to get out of this. explaining it over the phone used to solve it; now it’s a nightmare, I’m talking to a wall, support only via chat and email is the worst choice eBay could have made.

OP3 weeks agoIf someone has the same problem and has solved it. my items are shoes, they are priced at market price if not even higher, they have no reason to report and I don't understand.
