Buying an Omega watch from Japan
Hello,
Although this has already been discussed in part in the past, I wanted to know what extra costs there would be to add for the purchase of a vintage Omega watch (around 1968) worth about 550 euros.
Thanks in advance.

In your specific case you need to calculate the cost of the watch at 550 euros + any shipping (let’s say for example 50 euros)
So on 600 euros you will have to pay VAT at 22% equal to 132 euros.
Then depending on the courier you will have to pay from 5 to 20 euros for costs related to customs handling (clearance and collection procedures), which would be the "carrier charges".
Then you will also need to add a 4 or 6% duty, so another 24~36 euros
Kind regards.
