30 euro postal insurance
When I choose the shipping method "standard postal parcel" in addition to the shipping price range, the wording "insurance" also appears, the latter at 30 euros; I would like to know whether I have to pay for the insurance obligatorily or only if I need to insure the package?

·3 years agoIf you're talking about the eBay Shipping Manager insurance is included in the price:

"All shipments made with the eBay Shipping Manager include a free coverage that covers the value of the goods up to a maximum amount of €75 unless you are shipping goods included in the list of Prohibited / Uninsurable Items."
Then I don't know how it actually works, or who you should contact in case of damage or loss

·3 years agoI assume you're speaking as a buyer, insurance should be optional, but the seller may add it if it's about valuable items or if they think it's better to include insurance. It's always best to contact the seller for exact information.
