Sure, it’s strange, I’m following an item where there’s an auction, but every time I place a bid it’s automatically outbid by one euro... it doesn’t seem very nice to me, not to mention honest.
Maybe this way of doing things should be reconsidered; in my opinion it’s a bit fraudulent

·2 years agoAutomatic bids, which technopartsbay already mentioned to you, consist of placing a much higher bid than the one currently active. Simple example:
- Current bid 10 euros
- I think I could spend up to 50 euros for that item and I enter that bid.
- Automatically eBay adds one euro more, so my bid becomes 11, not 50.
- You bid again to 12? Automatically my bid becomes 13, and so on until it reaches the maximum I’m willing to spend.
It has always been that way on eBay.

Automatic bids have existed (since eBay has existed), and you can use them too.
They are legally allowed on online sites and prohibited only in “in-person” auctions (even though here you can still use bids “by proxy”).
So, as you can see, you just need to know how to behave and act accordingly.
