Cards with IBAN enabled for eBay credits
Good morning, is postepay evolution enabled by ebay to receive these famous and useless microcredits so as to receive after a month the money I'm entitled to from a sale? And which other cards with iban are enabled to receive payments from ebay. Thanks a lot

·2 years agoTo be even more CLEAR and precise.
A current account suitable for eBay must have the following characteristics:
- Ability to receive international bank transfers (preferably free of charge)
- Ability to receive international bank transfers with no minimum amount (to receive micro credits)
- Ability to request direct debits (bank RID) that eBay needs to withdraw funds when necessary.

·2 years agoYes, the postepay evolution is fine, the only thing is that for every transfer ebay sends you, they take 0.40 euro in fees on each individual transfer.
So if you sell low-value items (5 or 10 euros), these 0.40 euro could add up.
So you can also set ebay so that it sends you the transfers after 1 month, accumulating all the sales from the month.
Alternatively: If you make low-value sales, it’s better to opt for a checking account that doesn’t charge any fees to receive foreign bank transfers.

·2 years agoPostepay evolution yes. For the others it’s better that someone who uses them answers you, especially for those from online banks. Those from banks with physical branches should be fine, but you need to compare the costs with ppay evolution.
Also consider that the bank transfers you receive on play evol. will cost you about 0.40 cents because they are foreign bank transfers; in addition, you’ll have a stamp duty for average balance on the card over 77 euros (if I remember correctly).
You should check the contractual terms of the card you choose and compare the economic conditions.

OP2 years agoThanks actar, just this morning I bought a Postepay Evolution, I updated the payment method and I’m waiting for these mysterious microcredits, what I honestly don’t understand is why the IBAN of my prepaid card in my name, BNL in Novo, wasn’t good for receiving the microcredits. I don’t understand, it’s just a speculative issue in my opinion, prepaid with IBAN is this Poste one and prepaid with IBAN is that BNL one, I don’t understand. Thanks anyway and I hope with this Postepay Evol. to be able to receive my money

·2 years agoPlease. Actually, it’s strange that the card with the BNL IBAN didn’t work properly. Have you checked that it could receive foreign transfers and that it was authorized for direct debits?
If you try asking BNL and if, in the end, it gets resolved, then decide which of the 2 to keep based on the costs and which one you feel better with. There’s no point in paying a double cost. Bye

·2 years agoThe micro credits are amounts of 0,01 ~ 0,09 euro, so we’re talking about cents.
A bank can decide that transfers under 5 or 10 euro are not accepted.
Also considering that these micro credits come from a foreign account, the circle tightens even more.
So not all bank accounts are good with ebay.
Good accounts with ebay besides postepay evolution are definitely n26, then there are others too but you need to check the terms and conditions to see whether they accept foreign transfers with or without a minimum amount of 5 or 10 euro because otherwise the micro credits won’t reach you.

·2 years agoI had already explained to you that that BNL card had an IBAN that was enabled only for incoming transactions and therefore was not suitable for direct debits. For outgoing payments, it could only be used as a credit card.
When they do the verification, they check both the ability to deposit funds and the ability to withdraw them. An IBAN that does not allow debits cannot be used on ebay. Moreover, it had very high fees, one euro for every incoming deposit.
If you read the BNL YouPass terms of use on their site: The IBAN allows only incoming transactions to be recorded (made both by BNL customers and by customers of other banks) such as top-ups, bank transfers and payments; it does not allow utility domiciliation, bill payments, MAV/RAV debits and outgoing bank transfer orders.
