For sponsored listings, wait for the answer from someone who knows about it; since I’m not interested in it, I haven’t looked into it up to now.
From what I was reading some time ago, it’s not that they make much difference anyway, but maybe it depends on what you’re selling.
The thing I wanted to let you know, since you’re new to selling, is that you need to pay attention to the sales thresholds of the European DAC07 regulations, which came into force in Italy already in 2023: if you exceed the thresholds, either in number of transactions or in sales amount, eBay (like any other platform) will have to communicate your data to the A.d.E., which will verify that your status as a private seller is in order.
Take a look at the various posts on the community regarding the regulations.
In the "Marketing" section of the Sellers Console. Keep in mind, though, that for sponsored listings and promotions, only professional sellers have access to all the available tools.
