What happens if eBay says "ship by March 13" and then I don't do it today but tomorrow?
I warned the buyer that due to time constraints I can't send it today, since the payment arrived late. Is that a problem for ebay?

·1 year agoin practice, yes: it's advisable to "stretch" the timeframes, in order not to run into possible defects or, worse still, disputes opened for item not delivered.....

·1 year agoYou should ship within the deadline that you set for yourself, regardless of whether or not you have received payment.
The consequences could be a sales defect or the buyer opening a dispute for the delay.

OP1 year agoIs there a way to set a time slot within which I can ship? Otherwise, if someone pays late in the evening, the post office is closed and I can't ship the same day. It's pointless if then ebay says that I ship the same day.

·1 year agoSure, you can do it here:

·1 year agoAlberomaestro, once you have chosen to offer shipping within a precise time frame, even if it is just one day, there is no problem. As soon as a buyer has decided to make the purchase, they pay. And you are immediately alerted by the platform with a little red notification bell: alberomaestro, the buyer has paid, ship right away!! Time is running out! Even if the notification arrives at 10 p.m., I still have plenty of time to prepare the packaging with ready-to-use boxes, check the customer’s address in the console, and fill out the shipping labels already ready to be used. Then I go off to the arms of Morpheus. At 7:00 I wake up and at 8:20 I’m the first to enter the post office. That way the package goes out in the morning. Then I shift into gear for my round of daily errands. Do you understand? There is no problem. No, really. Kind regards.

·1 year agoI scrounge boxes at the market, sometimes at supermarkets, then I open them, turn them upside down, and set up the packaging depending on what I need to send :))))
