Selling on eBay

I came across a professional seller active since January..

They have about 200 total feedback, of which 5 are negative and one neutral, with a 97% rating

Can you explain to me why they have Top reliability?

Hello,

feedback does not have any impact on the seller’s status.

To be Top Rated, a seller must meet the following requirements:

Defect rate per transaction - 0.50% or less - total less than 4
Late shipment rate - 5.00% or less - total less than 6
Cases closed without seller resolution - 0.30% or less - total 2 or less
Transactions (12 months) - at least 100
Total sales (12 months) - at least EUR 1,000.00
Account type - Business
Your number of days on eBay more than 90

So, based on the information given, I’d say it’s totally normal that it is... not knowing everything else...

Let’s say that indirectly it takes feeds into account, because to have top reliability you still need the seller level above the standard one, and that is also determined by the feeds.

Top reliability, if I’m not mistaken, is reached by having a pro seller account, a seller level above standard, 1,000 euros in sales and 100 completed transactions; if he has 200 feedback like you said yourself, he must have long since surpassed the 100 sales and the thousand euros in revenue, so it’s normal that he has top reliability
