Ukraine / Italy tariffs

Good evening everyone,

I am interested in buying a Disney figurine from Ukraine, and the shipping method is listed as "International Shipping: Free".

At checkout, VAT of 22% is applied for a total of $ 146,40 / € 144,65.

When I receive the package, will I have to pay some kind of duty?

As this is my first purchase from outside the EU, I'm inexperienced, but is it normal that on the Italian postal service website the last update is from 19/10 with "Being processed at the International Exchange Center", while on the Ukrainian postal service website it goes up to 27/10 in the morning with "The container has been received by the destination post (Italy)" and then nothing?

duties probably not, but definitely customs charges and the carrier's charges... impossible to quantify them in advance, as it depends on the carrier that will take charge of delivering the package.

Thanks for the response.

I contacted the seller and for Italy they use Poste Italiane and use the "registered mail".
