Sales tariffs for the USA
Hello everyone.
Do we know whether the U.S. tariffs will also be extended to private sales?
Who will have to pay any tariffs? the buyer or the seller?

·1 year agoFor now the tariffs Trump has imposed are "reverse" ones, that is, toward the USA (and therefore paid by those buying from the United States).
In the other "direction" (that is, for those of us buying from the USA), nothing has changed and, as Sika rightly says, the existing ones remain in force, namely VAT, tariffs (above €150) and customs charges (that is, the fees the carrier asks to clear the goods through customs).
And considering the slowness and chronic indecisiveness of the EU, I think nothing will change anytime soon...

·1 year agoHello,
duties have always been there, currently for purchases over €150... both for professionals and private individuals... and as such they must be paid by whoever imports them... as they always have been.
Kind regards.
