question about reimbursement
The question may be silly, but since it's my first time, I'm asking.
I need to make a refund of 6 euros for a customer, what should the amount be so that they receive exactly 6 euros?
I'm asking because I noticed there are commission fees and a regulatory adjustment fee, so under "amount due," it shows 5.68 euros.
I'd like to understand better how it works.
Thanks

·1 year agoThings are simple and there’s no need to do complicated calculations.
You issue a partial refund of 6 euros and the buyer receives 6 euros.
Then the breakdown is already calculated by ebay, which proportionally pays the commission you had given them.
If you’re a private seller, you paid 5% of 6 euros, which is 30 cents.
So you pay 5.70 euros and ebay pays 0.30 euros.
Kind regards.
