How long does it take to start selling on eBay? We've been online since February but still no orders
Good evening, I need some advice regarding selling on eBay, we've been online since February but we still haven't received a single order.
How long did it take you to start selling?

·3 years agoToday there's a trend toward conformity that affects every existing field. Everything is part of a kind of behavior you're expected to adopt in order to get by socially. Just imagine in the field of sales, where everything is predictable for better or worse. One suggestion besides biting your tongue as already mentioned. Remove the white background from the photos. I (but it's just my personal opinion), wouldn't buy a branded item without a background. The items seem impersonal, like rushed prints that anyone besides the seller could have. You know the food photos that supermarkets print in the paper flyers with the weekly deals? In my view they don't have an appealing effect. Best regards.

·3 years agoI understand your concerns, consider that you sell products in which there is fierce competition not only among sellers on eBay but also with other platforms (e.g. Zalando) that sell shoes and clothing.
You arrived during a period of general crisis for everyone, from what I read, and those who were already selling before have already suffered a drastic drop in sales. At the moment you are a new seller with 0 feedback so the buyer probably thinks about it a bit before buying.....it's also true that everyone started with "0" feedback.
Things have changed a bit lately also because of visibility on eBay, which has introduced sponsored listings, but I don't know how they work. Maybe other users who are more experienced in the matter and/or professionals can give you some advice to help you get started.

·3 years agoBetter take care of the listing, add some well-made photos. Look at what your competition is doing.... https://www.ebay.it/itm/234953177971?hash=item36b44cfb73:g:qOQAAOSwgExkJrza&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8Dlb4%2BsrF0oRB0A4okyhEhbPFd1AjDFmb6fqlS%2FklSsDFRhkopTvBpwGKvPIh21quXEe%2BbncqkEFKc%2B49YiCegRzoeJ6opwDM3dgB9NvaCXKnedlFOq%2Fo64dmsE4EP%2FYdTwfIMGycQx3rkqxVECWZId88LhhakOctGPnO7hnGgP2f6VCzfL0z%2FfILWGP8X3Z2O0NiuZEFrkyOya9zqhEicx61novu2xJiKLiIuiG%2BjxiuJUIzRXP9U%2B917hifbI87pEUCfy6mefi5EmafCG4Wz60xDDVq2g%2Bxkfx2JkUUsUtdBeukQlKz7w4RfpQ2pM%2Feg%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_iOwMWIYg and compare the two listings.

·3 years agoGood evening,
you have few items and they're a bit niche... patience is needed.
Try sponsoring them or offering some deals or discounts... like a discounted price, not a discount for multiple purchases... they’ll hardly buy more than one pair of shoes at a time.
I’d invest time in improving the listings with more eye-catching names and more keywords, you have 80 characters available, use them all.
Kind regards.
