Good morning,

I am invited by eBay via email to join the program in question but when I click the link sent and select some items nothing happens...

How can I join it?

The eBay Premium Service is nothing more than a discount on paying fees, saving 10% on them.

To be able to participate you must meet specific requirements:

you must be a Top Rated seller
you must offer shipping services with tracking for items that cost at least 25 €
you must offer a free shipping option
same-day shipping and packaging or the next business day
you must accept 30-day returns.

So it is enough to lower your handling time to one day and you automatically qualify... if you meet all the other requirements...

If you're referring to the eBay Premium service and not the eBay Premium store, given the type of items it sells, I don't really see, especially, free domestic shipping working well.

It's not trivial to fold the shipping price into the item, since it also offers local pickup at the same time.

Only the person who wrote it can clarify what they mean... the fact remains that if they want to join the eBay Premium service or not, they’ll have to make major changes to their selling style... if instead they want to switch to the Premium store, they’ll have to dig into their pockets...

I reread the email sent by Ebay carefully

It's not the Premium store but the Premium program, and in the text I'm invited to edit the listings.. by clicking on the link I get redirected to a foreign Ebay site but when I edit certain ads nothing happens..

I would like to point out that in the text they write "you could apply for the Ebay Premium program"

On those listings you should try removing local pickup to add free shipping in Italy and shorten the packaging time to just one day.

Very well... so as I had already written to you, the requirements for "being able" to take part in that program are the following:

you must be a Top Rated seller
you must offer tracked shipping services for items that cost at least 25 €

So, if you are a Top Rated seller, offer tracking service, offer 30-day returns, what you need to change, as already suggested, is to bundle shipping into the sale price and offer free shipping by removing local pickup and lowering the packaging time to ONE day.

It depends on the number of items for sale and the forecast of how many there will be in the future.

You pay double the base amount (50 instead of 25) but the free listings (in Buy It Now format) go from 400 to 10,000; if you only use Buy It Now listings, the premium shop becomes worthwhile with more than 650 listings a month.
