Make a general change for all existing listings
I noticed that eBay basically always sets 3 business days to ship.
Is it possible to change it to 1 day for all existing listings by doing the operation just once?

OP3 years agoactually you're right because eBay lumps everything together, whereas I was only thinking about the fact that I would always ship the next day and I was separating that from the actual transit time

·3 years agoIf you don't want to run into some easy item not received claim, follow the advice you've already been given and leave at least 3 days; in fact, if I were you, I'd even increase the days from 3 to 4-5. Bye.

·3 years agoI agree with what milotemesvar wrote regarding longer rather than shorter shipping times.
I always put courier 3/5 days.
By doing so, maybe you get rid of anxious and troublesome buyers who might open a dispute for non-delivery the day after the "non-delivery" day.

·3 years agoYou need to modify the shipping rule in the rule manager.
Open it, or open them if you have more than one, and it’s enough to correct the "Packing time" line and remember to apply it when you save it... but in theory it should do it by itself...

·3 years agoI’ll do exactly the opposite: when I start selling again, I’ll put at least 4 days, because, with the current shipping times, there’s a risk that the customer, spoiled by A*, will get anxious and report the item as "not received" on the very first day of delay. Just read the many messages even here on the forum.
What made me decide this was one of my last sales last year, when the anxious customer gave me negative feedback the day after they were supposed to (according to the times stated by eBay) receive the package, and immediately filed a claim for item not received. The reason for the delay? a transport strike. Luckily, I later got eBay to remove the negative feedback.
For a private seller of used items who doesn’t have contracts with couriers, I think the best thing is to declare more days in the listing, then still ship right away, so as to be sure to stay within the delivery times stated by eBay. And you even look good if the package arrives much earlier than officially expected.

·3 years agoyou’re right, I went from 5 to 7 days, then I ship earlier, but I give myself a little buffer for any unexpected issues.
