Funds available but not credited
I sold three items, one was paid for and the other two weren’t. I sold one of these on January 04!
Order timeJanuary 4, 2023, at 20:45
Order number27-09536-73827. I’ve always entered everything, shipping number and carrier type.
Until some time ago there were none of these annoying block issues! Yet it says available funds! They’re not available at all! Because I don’t have them available.

·3 years agoIt's normal for new users and/or sellers who are not yet very active. From your feedback I can see that you've only sold 2 items recently, so you're considered an infrequent seller and the block can go beyond the usual 15 days.
Here you'll find all the rules and cases:

·3 years agoTo see the status of your funds: https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&st=3&pos=1&query=Pagamenti%20in%20sospeso&intent=fondi%20sospesi&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1450
Remember that as a new user you are subject to a 15-day hold, then the money will be credited to the checking account you have correctly linked to your ebay account.
If you haven't linked a bank account and haven't verified it, the payments will remain suspended forever.
For unpaid items, you need to cancel the transactions within 30 days. Otherwise you'll have to pay the selling fees too. https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/getting-paid/risolvere-problemi-con-gli-acquirenti-riguardo-oggetti-non-pagati?id=4137&st=3&pos=1&query=Risolvere%20problemi%20con%20gli%20acquirenti%20riguardo%20a%20oggetti%20non%20pagati&intent=non%20pagato&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1091

·3 years agoHello,
since you are not an active seller, your funds are held for at least 15 days... regardless of the outcome of the sale.

·3 years agoYou didn't read my reply carefully: "... at least 15 days"... and you didn't even read the link I had attached... I'll highlight the relevant part again... but at least read it:
https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&st=3&pos=2&query=Pagamenti%20in%20sospeso&intent=sospeso&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1450#:~:text=anche%20se%20a%20volte%20i%20tempi%20possono%20essere%20pi%C3%B9%20lunghi
It's eBay that decides... not the forum users...

For the moment, UNFORTUNATELY, that’s how it is.
If you can wait the time ebay requires, I recommend you do so because after a certain number of successful sales you will be considered a reliable seller and will enjoy ebay’s trust and have immediate credits within the time required for interbank transfers, which is about 2 working days.
At most, if you see that you have too much money tied up and you can’t recover the expenses you had to advance, put items up for sale up to the budget you can manage.
Unfortunately, this is the price to pay when a company is made up of a fair number of not-so-honest people.
With the abolition of paypal, ebay was forced to deal personally with the “business risk” on electronic money payments in the visa/mastercard network.
As long as it can, ebay recoups on the sellers, but since the “risk” of electronic money lasts until the thirteenth month, here it is that in this LONG span of time a seller might in the meantime have stopped selling, emptied the account, or revoked the direct debit to ebay.
Initially the block lasted until positive feedback was left or until delivery was confirmed.
Then over time there were various changes up to today, where the block is at ebay’s discretion starting from 15 days and up depending on the seller’s account and on a whole series of other parameters.
And if that’s anything to go by, this means that ebay is suffering various scams.
If ebay doesn’t find a solution soon, I believe the situation could get out of hand, with even longer fund-blocking periods and a consequent loss of appeal for those who start or go back to selling on ebay.
In the hope that ebay can find a solution.
Best regards.
